Continuing Medical Education (CME) Activity Statement

 

The purpose of IMD Congress CME program is to provide educational activities that should maintain, improve and further develop the investigation and practice of immune-mediated and immune-associated diseases. The target audience for the IMD Congress CME program includes biomedical scientists, medical students, allergists/immunologists, rheumatologists, pathologists, specialty and primary care physicians, and allied health professionals. This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, the Association of Pediatric Allergists and Immunologists of Russia, the Russian Association of Allergology and Clinical Immunology, and the State Research Center Institute for Immunology. The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 37 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Each physician should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Other health care professionals are awarded 3.7 continuing education units (CEUs) which are equal to 37 contact hours.

The American Medical Association has determined that physicians not licensed in the US who participate in this CME activity are eligible for AMA PRA category 1 credits.
